What benefits can I get from SR&ED tax credits?

Privately owned small or mid-sized companies in Canada can receive up to 68% of its SR&ED expenditures back as cash or a credit to offset their tax liability.

Larger, foreign-owned, or publicly-traded companies in Canada can receive up to 46%, or more, of its SR&ED expenditures as a credit to offset its tax liability.

However, the legal details of your claim are essential. A complete understanding of the SR&ED policies, the audit and appeal process, and your company’s rights, can be the difference between a successful claim and leaving hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table.
